Malta, Ghajn Tuffieha Bay
Guide to Malta, Gozo, Comino.
|
| Ghajn Tuffieha Bay is one of three beautiful, sandy beaches on the North West of the island of Malta, at the bottom of steep cliffs (The other two being Golden Bay to the North and Gnejna Bay to the South). You can only reach the large Ghajn Tuffieha Bay by walking down a very steep path; so despite its attractiveness, it remains quiet and unspoilt. The tower at the top of the cliffs was built as a lookout for defence purposes and from here you can look down to Golden Bay Beach and Ghajn Tuufieha Bay Beach.
The cliffs on the North West of Malta offer spectacular views: they are high and very steep. The sea below is a fantastic, clear turquoise, blue. This would be a great place to watch a sunset.
