Malta, Gnejna Bay
Guide to Malta, Gozo, Comino.

| Gnejna Bay is the southernmost of three beautiful, sandy beaches on the North West coast of the island of Malta, at the bottom of steep cliffs (The other two being Ghajn Tuffieha Bay and Golden Bay). You can drive down the valley and park in the large car park for the cost of a donation. This is a small, quiet, flat, sandy beach, with a small snack bar. Malta's local fishermen use the north edge. There are many boat houses cut into the bottom of the cliffs.
The swimming is gorgeous here - beautiful, clear water as usual, but with the extra fun of large flat rocks to swim out to and dive off. The rockier north edge of the beach is good for snorkelling too.
The cliffs on the North West of Malta offer spectacular views: they are high and very steep. The sea below is a fantastic, clear turquoise, blue. This would be a great place to watch a sunset.
