| Popeye Village - known as 'Sweethaven' in the film starring Robin Williams, is the film set of the 1980 musical and is situated in Anchor Bay on the north western coast of the island of Malta. Popeye Village is a ram shackle, tumble down, fairytale place, which appeals to families with small children. The many attractions include boat trips, a cinema, souvenir shops, themed restaurants, shows, a fun park and you can even meet some of the main characters from the film.
From the cliffs here, there are spectacular views along Malta's west coast and out to sea.
