One of two small beaches at Armier Bay on the far northern coast of Malta's Marfa Ridge. The bays are less sheltered than those further south and therefore the sea can be rougher here.
Armier Bay is sandy and directly faces the islands of Comino and Gozo. The flat, rocky fringes to these sandy beaches are spattered with rock pools - ideal for young children with nets and buckets.
The beaches in this area are not surrounded by hotels and shopping streets, although there are a few small cafes and bars. Most people prefer to picnic or have a barbecue here - enjoying the beach in a more natural and authentic way.
