Marsaskala is a small fishing town on the south eastern coast of Malta, situated within a deep inlet. The sea front is a lovely place for a stroll, to gaze at the fishing boats which crowd the bay. This is a popular spot for locals to come for a meal out, so the restaurants here tend to be very good.
There are plenty of bars and cafes, here too,
with their tables outside on the pavement.
Marsaskala is a charming and authentically Maltese, little place, but very tricky to leave - the one way system just sends you straight back into the village when you try to escape: you have been warned!
